Biography

Sydney was born in 1926. He was the son of Charlie Chaplin and Lillita McMurray also known as Lita Grey[1].

He appeared in two of his father's later films, "Limelight" (1952) and "The Countess from Hong Kong (1967). He won a Tony Award in 1956 in "Bells Are Ringing" and acted with Barbra Streisand in "Funny Girl" (1964).

He was married three times:

Margaret Beebe, m. 1998
