Charles Chandonné served with French-Canadians Rendering Aid during the American Revolution.
Charles was born on April 3, 1718 and baptised the following day in Notre-Dame-de-Québec, Québec, Canada, New France. His parents were Charles Chandonné and Elizabeth Bourget.[1]
He married Cécile Marie Godin, daughter of Jacques Phillipe Godin and Marie Anne Bergeron in 1739 in Rivière Saint-Jean, Acadie.
He passed away on May 24, 1792 according to the record at the age of 70 years old. His burial was the next day in Saint-Édouard-de-Gentilly, Gentilly, Lower Canada.[2]
