Robert Champion AM is an Anzac who served in World War Two.



Military Service 26 May 1941-11 Jan 1946 WW2 as a Private, number N267379, 6 PORT OPERATING COMPANY, Australian Army.

Awarded the Member of the Order of Australia on 10 June 1998 for services to :Local Government & Community, Bombala municipality for 30 years.

Mayor 10 years, Bombala Shire Council- 2 years .
Monaro County Council 27 years - Chairman 3 years.
Currawarra Frail Aged Hostel 19 years.
