You must have misunderstood; WikiTree has always been 100% free. If you were a Family Member and hadn't signed the Honor Code, you would see ads on profiles, and if you hit the 300th contribution, you couldn't add anything else without signing the Honor Code, which was and remains 100% free.
If the original account was deleted, or you closed it yourself, any profiles you created for living members would also be deleted. You can enter the surnames in the field at the top of your page here and click the magnifying glass to see what profiles with the surnames are still on WIkiTree.
Email addresses should not be entered in public comments, so they have been removed, but you can email them to the Team and see what can be recovered since you remember the email you used and if you didn't delete the account yourself, you can contact the Team by email: info at WikiTree dot com, and see if the account and previous WikITree ID can be merged.

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

Yes something looks off, the marriage date 1848 would imply a birth of about 1828, which would be right. Need to check and verify sources to make sure I'm mot mixing two Samuels.
Problem with WikiTree, I have to find some place to hang him before I move him. But Thanks, this is what I need. LOL
