Biography

Herbert Francis Cave (1907-1992), known as Frank, was born in Bristol on the 26th September 1907. He was the son of a tailor, Herbert Cave and Charlotte Greethead. ^[1] The family lived on Lower Maudlin Street in Bristol and Herbert was christened at Lewins Mead Unitarian Chapel, Bristol on the 3rd November 1907. ^[2]

The family moved to Monmoutn in 1910 by which time Herbart had a younger brother, Arthur Cyril and they lived on The Hill at Monmouth. ^[3]

He married in 1930 in Monmouth to Laura Arnold ^[4] and before long they moved to Grove Road, Worthing in Sussex where Frank was a newspaper journalist. ^[5]

He would become editor of the Worthing Herald. ^[6]

He died on the 1st May 1992 in Worthing. ^{[7] [8]}
