Biography

Robert came to Western Australia as a prisoner on the Lord Raglan, arriving on 1 June 1858.[1]

He married Sarah Wheatley on 12 August 1862 in Perth.[2]

Sarah died in 1865.

ROBERT CATOR, charged , with drunken-ness by Lance-corporal Bawscher, waa fined 10s, or in default, fourteen days imprisonment.[3]
James Bright, Robert Cator, and Louis Emilen, all three of whom had been found sleeping in a pavilion on the Old Recreation Ground, were charged as vagrants. Bright was let off on the repre sentation that he had employment to go to at Smith's Mill. Emilen, who is a native of Mauritius, was also set at liberty. Cator stated that he had recently left the depot to look for work. He was sent to gaol for one month.[4]

Robert died in Perth on 4 February 1906.[5]
