Also called the Honour of Boulogne, because its first French lord was also Count of Boulogne-sur-Mer. King Stephen had the honour, but after his son William it was seized by King Henry II.

See Sanders, English Baronies, p.151, under the "probable" baronies. Sanders seems to misidentify which Eustace of Bolougne was father-in-law of Stephen. He has one Eustace where there should be two generations of Eustaces.
