Biography
Elizabeth was born about 1841. [1]
In the 1861 Census, Elizabeth, aged 20, was living with her uncle Robert Cassie, aged 53, and 5 month old baby Mary Cassie (not sure where Mary fits in). [2]
Elizabeth had Eliza Webster in 1865 with William Webster. [3]
In the 1871 Census, Elizabeth, aged 29, was living at King Edward, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, with her father William Cassie, aged 69, her mother Margaret Cassie, aged 69, and her brother John Cassie, aged 32, and her own daughter Eliza Webster, aged 5. [4]
Elizabeth married Robert Byres in 1871 [5] and had George, Robert, Ann, and William.
In the 1881 Census, Elizabeth, aged 39, was living with her husband Robert Byres, aged 35, at King Edward, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, along with their children Eliza (now Byres because of her step-father's name) aged 15, George Byres aged 8, Robert Byres aged 6, Ann Byres aged 3, and William Byres aged 1. She passed away in 1900. [7]
