Mary Elizabeth "Molly" Cass was born in 1887 in Sandhurst, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Elizabeth (Fitzgerald) Cass and Richard Cass.[1]
During WW1 Molly served as a nurse in Melbourne, Victoria, looking after returned soldiers. She cared for those with mental illnesses caused by the War. She was attacked by her patients causing her to retire. She lived the rest of her life on a pension.
Mary died in 1976 in Cambrian Hill, Victoria, Australia. [2]
