Biography
Joseph Patrick was born in 1889. He passed away in 1964.[1] He is buried at Kopuatama Cemetery in Stratford, Taranaki.[2]
Stratford Evening Post, 5 April 1919. [3] Mrs H. Katwright, Rosalind Street, Stratford, has received word that her eldest son, Trooper J. P. Caskey, is returning by the Kaikoura, due about the 17th inst. Trooper Caskey has been on active service for three years, and went through all the fighting in Egypt without a serious wound. Mrs Katwright will then have two sons at home, and two are away yet, one stationed in Germany, and one in France.
