Donated to the NLI by a descendant of David Atkins Casement, half brother of Roger Casement (1819-1877) [father of Roger Casement]. The donor's uncle gave this letter to her before his death.
David, a farmer, died on the 1st March 1925 at Metung, Victoria, Australia.[4]
His will was proved in Melbourne in May 1925.
