Martha Cary was born about 1714 in Warwick, Virginia to parents Miles Cary and Elizabeth Cocke. She married William James about 1735 in Peartree Hall, Warwick, Virginia. Children: Cary, Martha, William, John, George, Henry Thomas, Jesse, Mary, Elizabeth, Rosanah, Joseph. She died on 18 Nov 1790 in Virginia.
