Theodore is found in the 1830 Census Chesterfield County, Virginia, living with a parent? between the ages of 50-59. he and his wife are between 20-29, and he has one daughter age 5-9 (Page #230).
A Power of Attorney was filed in Charlotte County, Virginia by sons, David and John:
Bk #23, Page #156, 3 Aug 1840, David Blankenship and John Blankenship of Wilson County, Tennessee to Robert Blankenship of Sumner County, Tennessee, power of attorney to receive from Thomas C. Spencer Jr., the legacy bequeathed to us by our father Abel Blankenship late of Charlotte County. Dated 5 Sep 1838 Rec 3 Aug 1840
It has been reported that Nancy married twice, but the date of this supposed 2nd marriage (after 1819) does not correspond with the Power of Attorney dates.
