Biography

Lawson was born in 1910. He was the son of James William Carter and Linna Handley.

Lawson was listed in his parents household in 1910 at the age of 3 months living in Ross Township, Vermilion Township, Illinois.[1]

On his World War II Draft Registration Card his birth date was listed as January 17, 1908 in Rossville, Illinois. Lawson was described as being 5'10" tall, weighed 170 pounds, blue eyes and brown hair. Next of kin was his wife, Bernice La Vera Carter.[2]

Lawson married Bernice McGlothlin in 1927 in Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois.

Lawson passed away in 1968.[3]

Lawson is buried in Park Hill Cemetery and Mausoleum in Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois.[4]
