Biography

Adelia was a Civil War Nurse.

Adelia was born in 1823. She married Dr. George W. New and they had two sons Frank and Orlando born in 1843 and 1845. Her husband was the surgeon assigned to the 7th Regiment Indiana Infantry during the United States Civil War. She passed away in 1892.
