Biography

1776 Project
John Carter was a Loyalist in the American Revolution.

John was born sometime between 1765[1] and 1772.[2] He passed away in 1805, likely in September.[3]

John appears on a juror list in 1780; he is listed as a juror or petit-juror in the town of Little River Bottom, Broad and Saludy.[4]

John's residence in 1790[5] and 1800[6] is Laurens, South Carolina.

After John's passing, his widow, Izibiah is living in the home of their son, John T. Carter.[2]
