Before 1838, Rebecca CARSON, daughter of James CARSON, a farmer, was born likely in Ireland.^[1][2]

On April 23, 1858, Rebecca of full age, a spinster, and John CARSON of full age, a widower and farmer, were married in Cleenish Parish Church of Ireland, Cleenish Parish, Bellanaleck, County Fermanagh, Ireland. Rebecca was residing in Rossavally, Cleenish Parish and John was residing in Rosscarn, Rossorry Parish, County Fermanagh. The witnesses were William CARSON and James RUTLEDGE.^[3][2]
