Biography

Thomas was born in 1789 son of Benjamin Carr and Pacience Bales. He married Jemima Stanley. The family migrated to Ohio and then Iowa.In the 1820 census Thomas was in Fairfield, Highland, Ohio, United States.[1][2]In the 1830 census Thomas was in Perry, Wayne, Indiana.[3]In the 1850 census Thomas (age 61) was in Green, Howard, Indiana, United States.[4]In the 1860 census Thos (age 71), Farm Laborer, was in Providence, Hardin, Iowa.[5][6]Thomas died on 24 January 1866 and was buried in New Providence, Hardin County, Iowa, United States.[7]
