Averilla (Carr) Wilmot was a Maryland colonist.

No birth record for Averilla Carr has been found. She was most likely born in Anne Arundel County around 1714 and was the daughter of Thomas Carr and Elizabeth Price. She is mentioned in the 1758 will of her father as Averilla Wilmot and was left a legacy of one third of his estate to share with her brother, Aquilla and her sister Mary Bowen.[1]

To Samuel Cole for granddaughter Mary Cotterall, the bed she lay on, 2 cows & calves, 6 ewes, & 1 colt. The residue is to be equally divided among my sd. wife & 3 children: 1. Aquilla Carr 2. Mary Bowen 3. Averilla Willmot Whereas I became bound as special bail for John Wilmott, husband of my daughter Averilla, in several actions for which he was in Baltimore Co. goal . . .
