He married Alice Charlotte BARRIE on 5 February 1918 at 31 Polwarth Crescent, Edinburgh, Scotland. He was an electrician living at Cudgewa, Victoria, Australia.[3][2] They had 3 children.
He died on 7 March 1952 in Werribee, Victoria, Australia, age 58 years. He was a ganger. Clarence was buried in Werribee Cemetery, Werribee on 11 March 1952.[1]
