Alicia married Alan de Lawedre.[1][2] Douglas states that Sir Colin Campbell of Lochawe had a daughter Alicia married to Alan Lauder of Hatton [sic].[3]

Playfair states: Sir [sic] Allan Lauder of Norton....acquired the lands of Hatton [sic] from John Hatton [sic] of that Ilk, and was confirmed therein by the King; he married Elizabeth [sic] Campbell, daughter to Campbell of Lochawe, predecessor to the Earl of Argyll.[4] This paints a confusing picture.

A Precept of July 1366 by William [1st] Earl of Douglas, Lord of Wedale, confirms to Alan de Lawedir and Alice his spouse, hereditarily, the intregal lands of Wormistoun etc., in the Regality of Lauder[dale].[5]

King Robert II, on 13th June 1371, confirmed upon Alan de Lawedre and his spouse Alicia Cambelle two carucates of land in Norton, co., Edinburgh, given when he [Robert] was Steward of Scotland.[6] If she was still living at the time of this confirmation, she must have died soon after this date as her husband had remarried sometime between then and October 1372.

One known child, Sir Robert de Lawedre of The Bass (c1350 -1425).
