Hugh John Vaughan Campbell was born in 1932. He was the son of John Campbell and Wilma Vickers. He passed away in 1993. [1]

Lord Hugh J.V. Campbell married Katherine Hinde on 19 Jan 1956. She was the daughter of Maj-Gen Sir William Robert Norris "Loonie" Hinde, DSO, KBE, CB, and Evelyn Muriel Wright.

- Lady Elizabeth Campbell (born 24 September 1959); married William Robert Charles Athill in 1990.
- Colin Robert Vaughan Campbell born 30 Jun 1962 7th Earl Cawdor married Lady Isabella Rachel Stanhope on 21 October 1994. She was the daughter of William Stanhope, 11th Earl of Harrington.
- Hon Frederick William Campbell (born 29 July 1965); married Katherine Barrett on 7 December 1996.
- Lady Laura Jane Campbell (born 26 December 1966); married Adam Hall in 2000, divorced in 2013.
