Burnett, known as Ben, was born in 1913. He was the son of John Joseph Cameron and Mary Jane Scoines. [1]
He married Mary Beatrice Pershouse in 1937. [2]
He served in the AIF (Australian Imperial Force) in WWII. [3]
He passed away in 1942

while serving in the AIF in Malaya.

He was laid to rest at the Kranji War Cemetery, Singapore.

A quiet wedding was solemnised at
Bundaberg on February 12, when Miss
Mary Pershouse, eldest daughter of the
late Mr Albert Pershouse and Mrs
Pershouse, of Benaraby, was married
to Mr Bernard Cameron, second son of
Mr and Mrs John Cameron, late of
Bororen, but now living in Bundaberg.
The honeymoon is being spent at Benaraby.
Mr and Mrs Cameron will make their
home at Bundaberg.

CAMERON.—To the glorious memory of
Gunner Burnett (Ben) Ronald Cameron,
died of wounds in Malaya, 5th Feb.,
