Biography
Ada Cambridge (married name Cross) was born on 21 November 1844 in Wiggenhall St Germans, Norfolk, England, the daughter of Thomasine (Emmerson) Cambridge and Henry Cambridge.
She was christened on 18 December 1844 in Norwich, Norfolk.[1]
She was a writer, including autobiographer/memoirist, novelist and poet.[2]
She married George Frederick Cross on 25 April 1870 at Holy Trinity, Ely, Canterbury, Kent, England.[2]
Ada died on 19 July 1926 in Elsternwick, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, aged 81 years.[3][4] Her remains were buried at Brighton Cemetery.[5]
