Anson Vasco Call was born on July 9, 1834 to Anson Call (1810-1890) and Mary Flint (1812-1901). He was one of five children born to this union. His siblings were:
Mary (1837-1921)
Chester (1841-1908)
Christopher (1841-1841)
Ruth (1850-1919)
Chester and Christopher were twins.
On January 28, 1853, he married Charlotte Holbrook (1833-1866) in Bountiful, Utah. They would have seven children:
Charlotte (1853-1924)
Anson (1855-1944)
Joseph (1857-1935)
Mary (1859-1942)
Ira (1861-1928)
Hannah (1863-1940)
Lamoni (1865-1933)
Anson married Eliza Catherine Kent (1836-1909) on November 10, 1856. Because of the date of this marriage, it appears Anson had two wives at the same time. It is even more evident based on the dates of their children's birth as well. Their children were:
Chester (1859-1943)
Sidney (1861-1906)
Ida (1863-1934)
Anson passed away on August 4, 1867 in Rock Creek, Wyoming. He had been on a mission to England beginning in 1864 where he became ill. Anson was on his return to his home when he passed away. He was buried in Bountiful Memorial Park in Bountiful, Utah.
