Biography

Born in Vine Grove, Hardin County, Kentucky. She was married to Thomas Buckner McCoy. She died of apoplexy in Enid, Oklahoma at age 71.

MRS. SARAH E. MCCOY PASSES AWAY (Holdenville Daily News, Hughes County, Oklahoma - June 1925) A resident of Spaulding for several years. She died June 2nd at the home of her son W. H. McCoy of Enid, Oklahoma. She had been ill for some time with paralysis. Mrs. McCoy was born Feb. 11, 1854 in Harden County, Ky. She died at the age of 71 years, 3 months and 21 days. She was married to T. B. McCoy at the age of 22 years. To this union ten children were born, seven now living; W. H. McCoy and Mrs. J. L. Gray of Enid, Ok.; Mrs. E. O. Trotter of Spaulding, Mrs. Mattie Woods of Caruthersville, Mo., R. B. McCoy of Jonesboro, Ar., and J. B. McCoy of Amivilla, Texas. H. H. Cain of Harden County, Ky.

Buried in Broken Arrow, OK, Park Grove Cemetery, Section F, Block 11, Lot 4, Space
