In Memoriam: Melanie (Cain) Housley was an active and generous member of WikiTree. Their presence in our community will be missed. However, their many contributions will live on as part of our shared family tree. This is a gift they gave to family members, distant cousins, and future generations, and is now a permanent part of their legacy.
Biography
Melanie was born in Montgomery, Alabama, but was an army brat. She has lived in Maryland twice, Louisiana twice, California twice, Omaha, Germany, El Salvador, and other places. She attended Univ. of Sou. Mississippi (1975-1978), and has lived in Hattiesburg ever since. She has been employed by the Postal Service for 36 years, and can't wait to retire! She loves stained glass projects.
