Patrick was born in 1919. He was the son of Patrick Cahill and Mary Flynn.
On 31 July 1942 Patrick Thomas Cahill, born 25 July 1919 at Midland Junction, Western Australia enlisted with the Australian Army, Service Number VX112701, next of kin, mother Mary Cahill. He served as a Sergeant with the 2/37 Transport Platoon and was discharged on 7 February 1946. [1]

In 1949 Patrick Thomas Cahill (Meter Reader) and Florence Edna Cahill (Home Duties) lived in Tongue St, Footscray, Victoria. [3]
He passed away in 1966 [4] and was buried at the Footscray Cemetery. [5]
His headstone indicates that he had children.
