Anne Cadoret was born on 19 Jan 1693 and baptized on 1 Feb in Pointe-de-Lévy (Lauzon) (supplemental rites, lay baptism at birth). Her parents were Georges Cadoret and Barbe Boucher. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Charles Rochon and Anne Pomenville. The officiating priest was Philippe Boucher.[1]
Marriage
Anne Cadoret married Simon Drouillard, widower of Marguerite Ferret, on 24 Nov 1712 in Pointe-de-Lévy. In the presence of known witnesses Benoit Feret, Guillaume Jourdain, Jean Cadoret, François Albert, Louis Jourdain, Michel Jourdain, and Philippe Boucher. The celebrant priest was Philippe Boucher. [Act states: The exemption from two bans has been granted by the Grand vicor.[2]
Simon was listed as a "soldat de la Mothe" (with Cadillac). He was a sublieutenant at the time of his second marriage to Anne.
Simon and Anne had eleven children but the years from 1718 to 1736 held much sadness for them. All of the children died between the ages of one and nine years with the exception of Marie Catherine who married Charles Carrier.[3]

Death and Burial
Marie Anne Cadoret, wife of the late Simon Drouillard, passed away on 1 Mar 1754 being given the age of around 65 years on the record. Her burial was the following day in Notre Dame parish cemetery of Québec. In the presence of known witnesses Jean Vallee and Guillaume Taphorin. The officiating priest was Collet.[5]
