Thomas Burton was born 10 Dec 1832 to George Burton and Judithe Benoit - he was baptized 10 Feb 1833 at St. Michael's Parish in Margaree.[1]
Thomas Burton (37) is on the 1871 census with wife Elizabeth (30) and their children; George (10), Donald (8), John (6), Marey (4), Henrey (3) and Michael (10 mos).[2] Elizabeth's maiden name is Brown.. son Henry's birth registration.[3]
Thomas Burton (81) passed on 9 Feb 1914 at Bay St. Lawrence. He is listed as married and a Fisherman.[4]
