Biography
Herbert was born in 1876, son of Reverend Charles Burrough and Georgina B. Long, 4th son (out of 10 sons + 1 dau.).[1] A descendant of Henry VII.[2]
He was a Lieut. in the 4th Shropshire Light Infantry, later Captain. He fought in the Boer War (wounded). He was a District Officer at Nigeria.
He passed away in 1952. Probate: of St Audreys, Ormond Road, Wantage, Berks, to his widow.
