Mitchel[1] Madison "Matt" Burnett was the son of Solomon Burnett and his wife Sally[1][2] who was born on December 1845[3] in Spartanburg[4], South Carolina. In 1880, he lived with his mother, his wife and his two sons[5].

Despite the death record saying he was born in 1853, he was more likely Born in December 1845, since the censuses he is in state quite decisively he was born in the mid-1840's. Please do not insert his DOB as 1853.
