Father's Estate
On 4 January 1845, the settlement of the estate of her father, Simeon Burleson, was accepted by the court in Yancey County, North Carolina. Noted within the estate settlement was that "I. C. Wilson's wife" had already received an advance from the estate of Simeon Burleson[9].
