John died in 1877. BULMER. Sudden Death.— Mr. W. Codd, County Coroner for Essex, held an inquest last Monday touching the death of John Bunn, a labourer, aged 65, who died suddenly early on Saturday morning. Deceased partook of a hearty supper on Friday night, was very cheerful, and went to bed as usual. Shortly after midnight his wife being awake he gave a sudden jerk with his arms, and presently she heard a rattling in his throat. She spoke to him two or three times, but getting no answer struck a light and called her neighbour, Geo. Golding, who came at once, and deceased died shortly afterwards. There was no doubt that deceased died a natural death, and a verdict to that effect was returned. [8][9]
