Merle Robert Beulow was born on May 1, 1926 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, United States, son of Armand Otto Buelow (1900–1963) and Bertha Elizabeth Bach (1905–2002).^[1]

Merle registered for the draft for World War II. ^[2]

In 1947, Merle was one of several Jehovah's Witnesses "draft dodgers" (conscientious objector) pardoned in a Christmas amnesty proclamation by President Truman.^[3]

Merle volunteered at the world headquarters of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society at Brooklyn, New York.^[4]

Merle (age 25), son of Armand Buelow & Bertha Bach, married Eleanor M Abraham on 29 June 1951 in Cuyahoga, Ohio.^[5] A divorce was granted to Merle on 23 February 1977, in Cleveland, Ohio.^[6]

Merle (age 50) married Elizabe A Rock (age 28) on 18 March 1977.^[7]

Merle died on February 18, 2021 in Panama City, Florida, aged 94.^[8][9][10]
