Birth

Priscilla was baptised at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 13th September 1835.^[1] She was the daughter of Joseph Buckingham and Hannah Harris. At her baptism her father gave his occupation as labourer.

First Marriage

James Harvey and Priscilla Buckingham were married in Church Hanborough, Oxfordshire on 15th February 1873^[2]. They were both of full age and living in Hanborough. James was a widower, working as a labourer and the son of William Harvey (deceased). Priscilla was a spinster, working as a gloveress and the daughter of Joseph Buckingham (deceased). Neither could write so they both made their mark on the register with a cross and the witnesses to the marriage were John Luker and Eliza Laitt^[3].

Second Marriage

Walter Slatter and Priscilla Harvey were married in Church Hanborough, Oxfordshire on 24th March 1883^[4]. They were widower and widow, both of full age and both stated of their father only that he was deceased. Walter was a labourer living in Coombe whilst Priscilla was a gloveress living in Hanborough. Walter signed his own name on the register whilst Priscilla could only make her mark with a cross. The witnesses to the marriage were George Launchbury and Adelaid Launchbury^[5].
