Biography

Percy Buchanan is a part of US Black heritage.

Percival "Percy" Samuel Buchanan was born in the British West Indies (Panama) on December 27, 1911 (or 1913). He was the son of Martha (Unknown) Buchanan. Percy Naturalized on January 12, 1948 in New York.

Percy served as a Staff Sargent in the United States Army Air Forces in WWII.

He married Althea V. Dunn in February 1946 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Percy passed away on January 30, 1972. He is buried in the Long Island National Cemetery in East Farmingdale, New York.
