Biography

Stanley JoHn Bubb was born in 1917 at Beechwood, New South Wales, Australia. He was the son of John Bubb and Sarah Murray.
Stanley enlisted on 11 March 1941 at Paddington, New Sout Wales, Australia and servied with the Australian Army, 2/1 Pioneer Battalion, during World War 2.

Stanley died on 04 October 1943 and is buried at Port Moresby (Bomana) War Cemetery, Papua New Guinea. The inscription on his headstone reads: "PEACE WITH HONOUR DUTY NOBLY DONE"
