Gladys Lenyer Brumfield was born in 1919 in Fulton County, Georgia, USA.

In the 1930 census Gladys (age 9) was the daughter of George Brumfied at 50 Forest Road, South Bend, Fulton, Georgia, United States.^[1]

In the 1940 census Gladys (age 21), Opeartor, was the single daughter of George E Brumfield in Lakewood Heights, Fulton, Georgia.^[2]

Gladys enlisted in the US Army Women's Army Corps on 8 January 1943 in Ft Mcpherson, Atlanta, Georgia, United States.^[3] She also was part of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion of the United States Army during World War II which handled the mail.

In the 1950 census Gladys (age 31) was the never married daughter of George Brumfield in Atlanta, Fulton, Georgia, United States.^[4]

Gladys was buried in Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, United States with a death date of 9 May 2016.^[5]
