Biography

Alvin C Broyles was born on December 11, 1896 in Kentucky.[1] He was the son of Robert Broyles and ‘’Antoinette “Nettie” Beck’’.

He served in the Navy from July 16, 1918 to December 18, 1918, during WWI. [2]

He married Margaret Baxter(1898-1980) on February 3, 1917 in Clark County, Indiana. [3] They had 2 children.

  1. Lucile E (Broyles) Wolff, Whitworth (1917-2015) m. Arthur L Whitworth April 15, 1948.[4]
  2. Joseph Alvin Broyles (1918-1997)

He and Margaret divorced ca 1935, in Jefferson County, Kentucky.

He was divorced, a Laborer with a 7th grade in louisville, in 1940, living with in his parent's home.[5]

he was working for Monarch Brass Work's in 1942, when he registered for the WWII Draft.[6]

He died on August 8, 1960, at the age of 63, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky.[1][7]
