Lovina aka Levina, was born in 1840. She was the daughter of Stephen Brownell and Tirez Day. She passed away in 1918.

Lovina R Brownell was born in Hanover, Chautagua Co, New York on July 5, 1840. She was 10th in a family of 13. Came to Iowa in 1854 (March) with her sister, Mrs. Sidney Bill. Married John Bender on July 21, 1859. Joined M.E. Church at Madison Center in 1877. Four brothers survive her, Lindsay E. Hopkinton, IA; Esquire A, Wyoming, IA; John S., Wyoming, IA; Ira J., Forestville, NY. She died March 21, 1918 and is buried in the Wyoming Cemetery.
