The prefix "Gov." that you added to William Clayton (Claiton-7) I assume is for "Governor." However, William Clayton was not the governor. When you have a chance, please look through the biography, much of the family legends are addressed and post a comment to his profile if you have any questions.
Perhaps I should have addressed you as Cousin Michael (or maybe even Father Michael ;-)
Looks like we're 8th cousins, one of the closer matches I've found so far at WT.
And last edit, perhaps you would be interested in joining the The William Penn and Early Pennsylvania Settlers Project, I'll post some info:

I would suggest post a comment or send a private message to the manager of Horton-181 with your information and offer to work with on adding the two generations: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Stanley-2864
From just a quick look at his profile, he is actively working on Wikitree and is interested accuracy and sources.
Also I would suggest reading over our Pre-1700 page and taking the Pre-1700 quiz, as this is definitely an time frame you wish to work in.

Thanks for your welcome. However, I had already run into a roadblock. I've been trying to add the father of Benjamin Horton (1727-1774) to my tree. His name was Thomas Horton. But two things go wrong. One, I am automatically having Benjamin linked to a Thomas Horton (1641-1716), who is Benjamin's great-grandfather (not his father). If he were, the proposed "father" would have been 86 years old when Benjamin was born. Second, when I tried to replace the linked Thomas Horton with the right one, his birthdate of 5 Apr 1698 is highlighted and the whole file fails to be applied. The reason, perhaps, is that many trees show this Thomas Horton as being born in 1690, which is not true. I have visited and photographed his tombstone at Rehoboth, Bristol Co, MA, which clearly reads that he died in 1733 in his 35th year (born 1698--not 1690). I need to find a way to make a correction, but the manager for Thomas Horton of 1641-1716 is probably not at fault. Everything he has about that Thomas Horton (spouses, years, children) all look, as far as I have seen, to be correct EXCEPT that two generations have been skipped between that Thomas Horton and his great-grandson.
