Biography

Abigail was born in Milbridge, Maine, in 1811, the daughter of David and Abigail (Alden) Brown.

She married first to Warren Foster.

She married secondly to James Bibber Mansfield in 1840, as his first wife. In 1860, they resided in Milbridge, Maine, with their 5 children. James was a merchant who owned real estate valued at $4000.^[1]

She died in 1888, at the age of 78 years.^[2] She is buried at the Evergreen Cemetery in Milbridge.^[3]
