Passed away at Grantham Hospital, Canowindra, on Wednesday last, at the ripe age of 87, one of the district pioneers in the person of Mr. George Brown. The deceased leaves a family of six daughters and two sons. The daughters are Mrs. J. Scrimshaw (Lockwood), Mrs. H. O'Brien (Morbel), Mrs. H. Henry (Orange), Mrs. T. Livermore (Cargo), Mrs. E. Kennedy (Belmore), and Mrs. Brown (Orange); the sons are Mr. Alex Brown (Billimari), and Mr. Geo. Brown (Cudal).
