Biography
Thompson was born Thompson Brown in 1824, Snainton, Yorkshire & baptised Thompson Brown on 21 November 1824 Brompton by Sawdon, Yorkshire the son of Benjamin Brown (labourer) & Elizabeth of Snainton.[1]
The marriage of Thompson Brown (full) (bachelor) (farm servant) [of Butterwick] & Jane Lazenby (full) (spinster) (servant) [of Heslerton] was conducted on 28 October 1848 Heslerton, Yorkshire. Father of bride & groom noted as William Lazenby (labourer) & Benjamin Brown (shepherd). [2]
An agricultural labourer in 1861 with wife Jane & children living in Low Street, Snainton, Yorkshire.[3]
He died Thompson Brown in 1887, Snainton, Yorkshire [4] & buried Thompson Brown of Snainton age 63 in January 1888, Snainton, Yorkshire.[5]
