In the 1911 census, Hannah (age 28), NG, was the wife of William Holines on Lanham St, Saskatchewan.^[3]

In the 1916 census, Hannah (age 33) was recorded as married in Quess, St, Teadale, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada.^[4]

In the 1921 census, Hannah (age 35) was the wife of William Halmes at 422 Trahom St, Prince Albert, Trahom St, Saskatchewan, Canada.^[5]

Research

Confirmed through family in Ireland that Annie was married to Hugh Small and they had one son, James Small. Around 1902, she left her husband and child and travelled to Canada. It is possible that she travelled to Canada with her brothers John and Joseph. It is unclear at this time if she officially divorced Hugh Small and if he knew that she was leaving Ireland for Canada.

By the 1906 Canada Census of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Albert it shows Annie now goes by Hannah and is married to William Holmes with their newborn daughter Ella.
