Fred Brown is a part of US Black heritage.

Fred was born in 1840 in Maryland.

Fred was the coachman for Maine Governor James G Blaine for many years, and later was a night watchman for the Maine State House..[1]

In the 1880 census Fred (age 40), Hostler, was the married head of household in Augusta, Kennebec, Maine, United States. Wife Julia, 6 children (2 step).[2]

In the 1900 census F, Night Watchman, was the married head of household in Augusta, Kennebec, Wife Julia, 3 daughters.Maine.[3]

Fred was living in Augusta, Maine when his daughter Harriet passed away in 1912.[4]

Frederick died (age 77) in 1919 in Maine, United States.[5]
