Biography

Felton Brown Sr is a part of US Black heritage.

Felton was born in 1906. He was the son of Van Brown and Rosa Hemphill. In 1920 Felton was living with his maternal grandmother and other relatives in Boerne, Texas.^[1]

Felton married Alline Fifer in Kerr County, Texas in 1927.^[2] In 1930 Felton was living with wife Alline and two children in Alline's parents' household in Kerrville, Texas.^[3]

Felton married Henrietta Dimery in Kerr County, Texas in 1936.^[4] In 1940 Felton and Henrietta were living with a daughter in the household of Henrietta's parents in Kerrville.^[5]

Felton served in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant during World War II and Korea.^[6]

He passed away in 1982 in Kerrville, Texas.^[7] He was buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.^[8]
