Ellen Brown was born in 1856 in Botetourt, Botetourt, Virginia, United States.
Ellen (20) married George Alexander (32) (born in 1844 in Virginia) on December 29, 1877 in Botetourt, Virginia.[1] In 1900, they were living together in Catawba, Roanoke, Virginia with their 9 children. Their surname was transcribed incorrectly as "Alexandria".[2]
