Biography

Mary Ann Brown married Alfred Harding in 1887. The marriage was registered in Amersham, Buckinghamshire in the third quarter of the year.[1]

Mary and Alfred had at least six children:

  1. Charlie Harding (1887-1889)
  2. Violet Harding (1889-)
  3. Minnie May Harding (1892-)
  4. Daisy Harding (1894-)
  5. Alice Harding (1896-)
  6. Elsie Mary Harding (1902-)

In 1891 Mary Harding (age 25) lived at Brays Green in Little Missenden, Buckinghamshire with her husband Alfred (30, Woodman) and daughter Violet (2).[2]

In 1901 Mary Harding (age 34) lived at Brays Lane in Amersham with her husband Alfred (40, Woodman) and four daughters: Violet (12), Minnie (8), Daisy (6), and Alice (4).[3]

In 1911 M Harding (age 50 [~45]) lived in Amersham with her husband Alfred (45 [~50], Woodman) and four daughters: Violet (22, Domestic Servant), Minnie (18, Domestic Servant), Daisy (16, Domestic Servant), and Elsie (8, School).[4]
